The plight of Black people worldwide is overwhelming. Systemic racism on the one hand, and violence among Black people on the other, mean that our community seems unable to rise above the yoke of the legacy of slavery and colonization. But what is the origin of this condition of the so-called "Negro"? What conditioning has subjugated Black people to such a state wherever they find themselves? From Africa to the Republic of Haiti, to the streets of New York, Paris, or Montreal, the Black condition must be diagnosed, dissected, and ultimately, overturned and eradicated, to bring back the original Black men and women of yesteryear—that is, from the time when we were kings and queens of the planet.
